The Kirigami Project - Week 26 - Ice Cream

Summer is really just one big excuse to eat ice cream, don't you think? Not to say that we don't indulge here and there throughout the year, but hot weather and ice cold treats are, quite simply, made for each other.

So I couldn't resist trying a little ice cream kirigami. Cute in a solid colour...

But even sweeter with a bit more personality! Why not grab your markers or coloured pencils and add a bit more colour and detail?

To create your own ice cream inspired kirigami, use the template below and the 6-point folding pattern.

Happy crafting! (And happy ice cream dreaming!)

The Kirigami Project is a collaborative creative project from Marisa Edghill of Omiyage and Geri Jewitt of The Languid Lion. Marisa creates the kirigami designs and Geri whips them into template shape! Each week In 2014, we will bring you a new kirigami design to fold and cut.
