Lotus Flower - Seen Objects |
In Japan, it is sometimes said that the lotus represents overcoming a great struggle. The flower begins very small at the bottom of a dark and muddy pond. It must grow upwards, through the muck - the darkness, to reach the surface - the light. Once it reaches the surface of the water, the lotus blossoms into a simply gorgeous flower.
