The Kirigami Project - Week Three - Bubbles

For this week's circle-filled kirigami design, in keeping with the celebratory theme, I took inspiration from bubbles - you know, of the bubbly pour-me-another-glass kind! Though this kind of bubble is pretty amazing too.

My outside row ended up a little bit pointier than originally intended, but I still rather like it and the tiny sunshine right in the middle was a fun surprise! This design reminds me a little of something you might see through a kaleidoscope - and that's really never a bad thing.

To create your own Bubbles-inspired kirigami, use the 6-Point Folding Pattern and the design below.

Happy crafting!

The Kirigami Project is a collaborative creative project from Marisa Edghill of Omiyage and Geri Jewitt of The Languid Lion. Marisa creates the kirigami designs and Geri whips them into template shape! Each week In 2014, we will bring you a new kirigami design to fold and cut - simply print the traceable template to get started now
