We're wrapping things up around here for the holiday - and wrapping gifts too!

Since it's the biggest wrapping season of the year, I thought I'd share Corinna vanGerwen's clever tip for measuring wrapping paper with you - I always get that one wrong! Corinna is a gift wrapping expert - check out more great tips and wrapping ideas on her blog.

Need more gift wrapping inspiration? Our Wrap It! board on Pinterest is pretty popular.

We're slowing down for the holiday - we won't be shipping from December 20th to December 26th and email correspondence will be limited - but the shop will stay open!

Hope you'll join us next week for our Boxing Week sale - we'll be offering our biggest discount of the year - make sure to join our mailing list so you don't miss it.

  1. For several years when I was an undergrad, I had a seasonal job as a Christmas gift wrapper! It was at various downtown Toronto locations like First Canadian Place, Eaton Centre, Cumberland Place etc. I learned the tricks of being able to wrap items of any size or shape. I had to work quickly but the results were great because we had really attractive, high quality paper and ribbons to use. I always had a length of ribbon at hand to quickly determine the exact right length of paper to cut from the massive rolls, like the diagram you posted above. We also used glue guns instead of tape and I have kept that habit even until today!
